Dr. Ward comes from Atlanta, Georgia where he started practicing in 1997. He is an accomplished and caring doctor who has been helping patients get healthy through chiropractic care and physical rehabilitation for years. Dr. Ward first graduated from the University of Florida in 1993. He then entered chiropractic school and graduated from Life University in 1997 with a doctorate in chiropractic. He has trained extensively in rehabilitation conditioning and the management of injuries.
Dr. Ward has a special interest in working with athletes because he is an athlete himself. It is for this reason that he understands the demands an athlete puts on his or her body and their need for special attention. Since graduating from Chiropractic School, Dr. Ward has attained Board Certifications as a strength and conditioning specialist and as a chiropractic sports physician.

Dr. Ward was awarded the CEO Award through the national breakthrough coaching association in 2006. He has been noted in the who’s who of Northern Virginia in 2004 and 2008 for his practices with the Washington Redskins, the Washington Wizards and the Potomac Professional Rugby League. Dr. Ward appeared as a guest on Channel 9’s “A New Me” to discuss conditions chiropractors typically treat and how many common injuries can occur. Dr. Ward has opened 4 rehabilitation clinics in Northern Virginia and Washington DC.
Dr. Ward is an accomplished Lecturer who has spoken on a number of various topics at many private and community events.
Jeannie Koulizakis, MSPT
Eugenia Koulizakis, PT, MPT, graduated from Purdue University in Indiana in 1993 with a Bachelors of Arts degree, then from Nova Southeastern University in 2000 with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Her practice began in Chicago, Illinois where her practice focused primarily on orthopedic and neurological work related injuries, both chronic and acute. In addition, she has extensive experience working with runners, particularly marathonians and triathletes, and their common injuries, including ankle instability, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinitis/tears, chronic shin splints, iliotibial band (ITB) syndrome, knee pain, groin strains, chronic hamstring tightness, chronic psoas tightness, pelvic floor dysfunction, hip and back pain.
Ms. Koulizakis is certified in performing FCE’s (Functional Capacity Evaluations). She is also certified in mat Pilates for Rehabilitation Specialists. She specializes in core neurological re-education for the purpose of teaching her patients healthy posture, both static and dynamic. She also has extensive continuing education on home and office work area ergonomics and can make effective, game changing modifications to correct the ergonomics of your workspace to sustain, not work against, the gains you will make while in treatment at Cross Functional Rehabilitation Specialists.

Ms. Koulizakis is licensed to practice physical therapy in Virginia, Florida and Illinois. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Virginia Physical Therapy Association, and the Education Section of the APTA.
